Windows Forms glass effect, make ImageBox transparent

Question

I have an application for Windows forms, and I expanded the window frame in the client area using DwmExtendFrameIntoClientArea to get the glass effect.

Now I'm trying to show a transparent PNG image in the image window, however the background is displayed as white instead of the glass effect. How to make the image transparent so that I see only a rounded gray rectangle, and not a white background.
