How to programmatically access files in Windows Phone 7 Office Hub / Extend Office Hub

I have developed PDF Converter / Viewer for Windows Phone 7 , but it is useless unless it can get the source files (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

The obvious place to get these files is the Office Hub on the phone, but there seems to be no documented way to programmatically access these files. I can only access my own application files using IsolStorage.

Alternatively, I would like to extend the functionality of the Office Hub with an extra button to convert the file, but I'm not sure if this is possible.

Naturally, I can receive files from a SharePoint server, but I prefer not to do this if I am not required. Also, is there a way to map my application to a file extension so that email attachments can be downloaded into it?

Any brilliant ideas? How does the official Acrobat PDF viewer handle this?

I am afraid that it is impossible to use the SDK to execute any of these ideas for files stored on the phone.
