When is MS Access better than a web application supported by RDBMS?

I did not use Access from school, many years ago.

What problem can be solved well or even better than a web application supported by a real DBMS?

Will it be actively developing? Or is it already dead for MS already?

What are its biggest limitations?

It boils down to the following: if one of the Wizards built into access can produce exactly what you want, or at least something really close, and you need to ever support multiple users with the result, it could be reasonable choice in several situations. If this does not apply (all), there are almost certainly better alternatives.
