Git push not working in new branch

So, I created a new branch in git by doing the following:

git checkout -b newbranch master

I made some changes to newbranch and made them. The git log shows my changes just fine.

Now, when I do "git push", I just get "All modern" although nothing has been ported to the remote repository.

I am on git 1.7.1

Thanks for any help!

Git does not automatically push all branches. It masteris usually the default branch to push, but you can specify by doing:

git push origin newbranch

Although, you might want to merge your new branch into your main branch again, and then click on it.

Git , . , X, , (, , ) , X , master, .
