This applies to Microsoft Color barcodes (color).
Does anyone have a landing URL and the correct request format, which the reader types and then redirects to the search URL. I manually decoded the tag, and I also created my own tag, but I wanted to know the URL, which is the tag handler.
Six in my tag file: 1560652D9BC2DC614D7C8FC711B
Barcode Actual: 60652D9BC2DC614D7C8FC711B
What I want is the correct URL:
http://something.something.com?code=60652D9BC2DC614D7C8FC711B
I wanted to manually paste the URL into the browser and then add the hexadecimal code of the tags to check them, since I cannot find the tag reader for the win desktop. I personally don’t own a smartphone (yes, I know, sometimes I’m a dinosaur), so I can’t just print and scan.
I poked in one of the readers for Win6.2 mobi and found several URLs, but I don’t have the correct query string format, and I don’t know which one is the correct URL for the tag handler.
TIA, Wolfie
