I created my own update application that connects to the network and checks if my application is updated with all files or not, and download and install the updated components. and it works great and everything is fine! My question is ... is there a way to update the updater? I do not know how, but something that closes the program, unzip the downloaded updater and restart it ...

I would probably do it.

Suppose there are two files:

Updater.exe and MainProgram.exe

Updater.exe . MainProgram, .. , Updater.
