Does Weblogic support fault tolerance of session objects that are not marked as serializable?

Work on elevator and porting spring MVC application from Weblogic to Websphere. Previous owners swear that they work with rollback, but half of the objects that are stored in the session are not even serializable.

Does Weblogic silently ignore serialization errors, or perhaps gracefully handle any non-serializable objects in transient mode?
