Question about weblogic portfolio performance

I have to make a design decision to use either Weblogic portlets or Ajax div portlets for application development. Any pointers to guidelines? I am very new to portlet development.

Weblogic is not yet compatible with JSR 286,

So, in terms of compatibility , Jetspeed or Liferay or JBoss Portal is the best choice to start with. All three are open source.

Have you checked out and used alternative OpenSource platform to platform ( the Apache JetSpeed )?

( Tomcat) Java EE- ( Websphere, Weblogic ..), Weblogic.
