How to call back button from Flex application with deep binding

How can I programmatically click the "Back back" button in a Flex application.

I use deep binding so the user can move back / forth inside my application. I want this to work when BACKSPACE also clicks inside the application, but Flex captures BACKSPACE and the browser does not receive the event. Naturally, I do not want to implement the browsing history in the application.

Any ideas? Can I send BACKSPACE to the containing browser? Can I specifically call "BACK" in a browser from javascript, maybe?
