Launch iPad simulator from tools

Question

In Xcode, you can select an active target that will launch either on the iPad or on the iPhone simulator. However, when starting the application from the "Tools" I do not see such an option.

How to choose a simulator that you want to run in Tools?

Per Apple docs ,

• Open Choose a target and find the application package compiled for the simulator
• Open the drop-down menu, now you can see the launch options
• In the launch options, select the simulated device and iOS version:
