Add text to PDF in Coldfusion 8

Question

I have a PDF that I want to add to the text. addFooter (), available in CF9, will work fine, but I only have access to CF8.

Does everyone have workarounds for this feature in 8?

Yes, even in ColdFusion 8, you can use DDX to add the following and headings to the PDF. See the specific Adobe 8 Livedocs for how to do this. I also have some blog posts 1 and 2 that may help. Despite the fact that I tested CF9, there is also CF8. You can also get almost impossible to find a DDX link . Also check out Jedi's Coldfusion 8 part of the PDF8 series in CF8 .
