First chance against second exception

Question

When I create a dump file using ADPlus, I get both the first random and second chance, but when I use the task manager to generate the dump file, I get only one dump file. Is this the second exception? In any case, I'm a little confused about this 1st and 2nd chance exception, although I read a little about it. Maybe if someone can give a good analogy, it can clarify things for me.

In short, the First chance exception gives the debugger the first chance to check the status of the exception and the application before the application processes the exception.
