Communication between Android emulators

I wanted to know if it is possible that the connection between the two Android emulators started on two different machines on the network.

For example - Emulator A runs on machine M1 - Emulator B runs on machine M2

Can A and B exchange messages?

If so, what IP address do I use?

Thanks a lot Deborah

You already know about it. As for android-sdk-tools_r7, at least two emulators could be connected to each other. Is the work between physical machines not what I know. Perhaps you can configure the mask between the two hosts for this particular transfer.
