Silverlight (card game) and WCF communication (with IIS)

I have an IIS server on my computer and there is a game with a Silverlight card that I am actually developing and I want it to play the mulitplayer game on my server. I understand this a lot, but I cannot decide which technology or what I should use. What technology allows me to connect my server with users who connect to it? I think that simple communication is enough for me, that, for example, I connect to it, and the server is responsible for me (after authentication) .--> I found WCF, for example, if I connect to it, I see people, who really connected, and after starting the game with the user, and I make a card event, etc ... the partner can see what I did, and e can see the changes and respond to this with another card event ...

WCF is really a great option for your scenario. It even allows the use of duplex / "push" scripts (for example, player A makes a move and sends a message to the server, the server automatically sends notifications to players B, C and D).
