How long does the new indicator appear next to a SharePoint 2010 task?

When you create a task in SharePoint 2010, after you create the task, a "new" indicator is displayed. How long is it displayed and how long is it displayed configured from the GUI?

By default, AFAIK is 2 days.

[Edit] Just confirmed and can confidently say that it is 2 days.
