Deploy WCF REST 4.0 to XP IIS 5?

Question

I am trying to deploy a simple WCF.NET.NET REST service in Hello Hello.NET style on WinXP (IIS5). He works great in Cassini.

I tried to adapt the information here to me:

but something does not click. Can anyone give ideas or comments? Yes, I have to stay with WinXP.

Do you consider yourself your own service instead of trying to use IIS. This will probably be easier to do than using IIS.

In case the above steps do not work. There may be a problem with permissions to your application pool for this website / virtual directory, you can try to set this right and try it.
