I can not imagine EtherPad

I feel that this is probably a pretty stupid question, but I just got completely lost. I saw (and tried) about ten different ways to install EtherPad on my system, but absolutely nothing like actually including it in my web page. It seems that one page showed me that I am opening "http: // localhost: 3306 /" (or something like these lines, the port number is probably wrong) in my browser, but when I did this, it tried The "download",. bin file, which is clearly not what I want.

I tried looking at the source code of several pages using EtherPad, but that didn't help either. I honestly could not even find anything that related to EtherPad. I dont know. I'm just lost.

I feel that I am missing something really serious that should not be so hard to understand. If someone could point me to a solid tutorial or give me a brief explanation of how this works, I would be very grateful.

How do you want to integrate etherpad? The most common method is to have one that contains one etherpad page.

If you want to have full etherpad functionality, you should look for templates / folder to configure the control panel itself.
