W3C Validated HTML5 (Work in Chrome, Firefox, Safari) Black Screen in IE8

Question

Evening everything.

I have created a basic HTML5 site. It is checked in the W3C validator. It seems to work fine in Chrome, Safari, Firefox, etc. However, opening the page in IE8, I just get a black screen.

I suggested that I missed tape or something like that. However, I get 0 error messages in error consoles and look through the code. I do not see any errors.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

PS I can also view the document tree in IE8 Developer Tools.
