I was looking for a specific answer on whether to optimize my pages for a single or multiple version of the target keyword. Let me give an example:
I have a website with computers, and from the homepage I have links for my main categories / keywords:
Processors Motherboard Printers Scanners etc .....
Now with the google adwords tool, I find out that the "Processor" runs much more than the plural version of the "Processors". Now some questions arise to improve my SEO efforts:
- Should I use a singular version of the keyword?
- If I use the multiple version, is it optimized for both singular and multiple searches, since the "Processor" is logically contained within the "Processors"?
- What is the best strategy / practice to solve this problem.
