Office 2010 Server-Side Automation on Windows HPC Server 2008 R2

Question

I know about the infamous Microsoft Office Automation Questions from Microsoft and clearly lists products from the 2010 package.

However, today I was convinced by an IT professional that Office 2010 does not suffer from the problems mentioned in this article and can be used without problems in a server environment. I could not find a link or supporting document that would substantiate the claim. (I will follow him up on this, however, he must have in mind other server-side hardware). My gut says he smoked socks!

Is there a Microsoft server-side automation solution for Office 2010? If so, can you provide an appropriate link that supports the application.

(I am not looking for a table with tables, OpenXML SDK, OpenXML, etc.)

It would seem that the technician was not so far away, and in fact there was some justice in his claim. I refer you to Windows HPC Server 2008 R2 , which is dedicated to high-performance computing (so this does not apply to your run from work-type books, which I believe most people have). This makes sense, given that the company I work with works with the insurance sector. Note: this only works for high-performance computing server.
