Windows mobile phone 7 - C # only?

I heard that application development on the new Windows 7 phone is only C #. It's true? I could not verify this myself. Could you provide a link to this?

If true, are there any rumors that VB.Net can create applications?

You can write applications in VB.NET. Here is the package you need to install (Visual Basic for Windows Phone Developer Tools)

But XNA projects are not currently supported in VB.NET (Silverlight projects only)
