How to draw a button in windows-CE?

I am trying to draw a button in my C # windows-CE program.

in one device I am Success for this ( button1.BackColor = Color.Red;)

but on a narrower device, I see that the button is in the win XP style - and

when I try to change the color he added. Modified.

what could be the reason ??

The reason is that the device has an XP skin component (SYSGEN_XPSKIN) in the OS that overrides the standard behavior of the button paint. If you want to draw a button, you need to create another skin for your device or get a new OS image that does not include skin.
