It seems to me that I am struggling against the current one when I develop ASP.NET Webform applications. I often run into the same problems, and as long as I end up finding some workaround, I am never completely satisfied with the results.
Here is an example of a typical problem:
A mesh or net result set is required for design. This result set is pulled out of the database, however there are additional controls for each row that are not tied to data, but their contents are used to insert data into other records.
A good example of this would be to display a list of products and then add the selected products to the shopping cart based on the values entered in the quantitative fields and the options selected for each product. Throw in the mix that you have to add several carts to the basket at the same time, and this starts to get complicated.
Add to this connection that you cannot choose certain products together (mutually exclusive), you can only choose a certain amount of one product, but not another, that prices can change when the user selects their products, that you get a general discount on the item based on the acquired quantity (both for each item and in general order) that you use a credit line and cannot exceed the credit line, and also cannot buy more than a certain item than an arbitrary amount established in your account or in the product in your account, representing (I think that certain drugs are prescribed by the government, which the government limits how much you can buy), etc. etc. etc.
