Android - indicates that the menu is available

Is there any functionality baked into the Android SDK that will give the user a visual indication that the menu is available? Or has anyone worked on this issue?

Currently, I need to rely on the user by pressing the "Menu" button, and sometimes it’s just not so obvious that a certain Activity has a menu.

So, any suggestions?

I consider three levels of user interface:

• Point number 1 for activity should be available directly on the screen without any menu.
