Spring / Spring Security 3.0.x thread

Question

I am currently porting an application from Spring 2.5.6 to Spring 3.0.4 and Spring Security 3.0.2, and I was wondering if there was any kind of execution thread for both of these frameworks so that the developers might know what is called before .

For those of you who make such a migration, I can tell you that this is not an easy task, why I wondered if some experts out there in the wild have some links to these streams.
