Play iPhone movies via TV-out

Is there any way to imitate the video application so that we still save the controls on the device (iPad / iPhone), but send the video via cables to the TV? I looked at mirroring the screen, but it is too slow for video, and no matter what UIGetScreenImage () used when mirroring the screen, Apple is no longer allowed.

The Video app seems to have exactly what I need, but I don’t see anything simple for this to happen.

Update (10/15/10): So, it seems that films played through UIWebView support TV-Out, but MPMoviePlayerController does not.

However, there is a caution: this does not work on older devices upgraded to the latest iOS. That is, iPod touch, iPhone 3G and 3GS do not work, while the iPhone 4 and iPad. Hopefully there is one more thing we can use to fill in the gaps in compatibility, as I know that this is possible. Applications such as AirVideo and StreamToMe currently support this functionality.
