Does posix aio support a socket file descriptor in linux 2.6?

I asked such a question on google and got different answers. I cannot determine if posix aio on linux 2.6 supports a socket file descriptor or not.

if it supports tcp socket whether aiocb.aio_offset = 0 with respect to the first byte read from the socket fd is tcp ?

if this is not the case, does any io asynchronous library in linux support socket fd?
