I agree with Shingara. You should never store people's passwords in such a way that the repository files being restored are hashed (not encrypted), they are both unreadable formats, but the difference is that you cannot cancel the hashing.
If you are wondering why this happens, if your site or database is compromised, hackers will not be able to steal your user passwords (users have a bad habit of using the same password on almost every site), you do not want to look stupid without hashing passwords and you have no excuse as it provided you with a free app.
