Good remote Apache log viewer

I have a server with 10 + virtual domains (most of them work with Mediawiki). I would like to be able to watch their traffic remotely with something nice than the -f tail. I could have collected something, but I wondered if there is something super-luxury, which involves a minimum of hacking and support. This is mainly for understanding what is happening, and not for security (although this may serve this role). He must:

  • be able to handle vhost log files
  • be able to process updates every 10 seconds or so
  • Be free / open source

Pleasant to use are:

  • Browser-based mapping (supported by web application / daemon on server)
  • Support for filters (bots, etc.)
  • Features such as page counters, with a click to view history
  • Show a good graphic display of a geographical map, timeline, etc.
  • Define individual browsers
  • Show link links (from a remote site, page to another page)
  • Be able to define magazine templates (editing or creating a page)

I am running Debian on a server.

Thank!

Take a look at Splunk . I'm not sure if it supports real-time updates (~ 10 seconds), but there are many features and it's pretty easy to configure.

The free version has some limitations, but there is also a corporate version.

Depending on the volume, Papertrail may be free for you. It is the closest to tail -fand searchable, archived, and also sends alerts based on user criteria.
