I am going to create a small Android application. I created a couple of widgets by expanding the ImageView and ScrollView widgets. The problem I am facing is not in the code itself (i.e., everything works great), but rather in the Eclipse "intellisense" in the XML layout. If I use my own widgets for Android, I get the usual eclipse offers, and all is well. However, as soon as I add a link to my widget (i.e.), I lose intellisense on my widgets AND (more painfully) on all widgets below my widget. In other words, I do not get intellisense if it exists below my widget. Again .... everything works, there is no error anywhere, it just becomes insanely slow to program this way.
This is very unpleasant, because I do not remember all the attributes of the various controls.
Has anyone come across this or had any suggestions on where to start trying to solve it? I don’t even know which correct term in Eclipse will start to look at it. After 3 days, when I look back and forth, I am on my way.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
