Super easy to use (manual) project management software?

Question

Currently, a development team of 2 people, with a project manager who has no experience in project management. So you really need something very simple that will hold the hand of the project manager.

More important than features is ease of use. I could go in for the glorious ToDo list, but I need milestones.

SmartSheet was used and can be recommended, milestones and any other users are free, can share limited viewing with customers, etc.
