We have been using LogFaces for many years for a year or so and are very pleased. It is lightweight and cheap, very sleek and reliable, and has a full range of filters, reports, alerts and reasonable APIs where we can connect our own listeners. The product is actively developing, and the developer quickly responds to inquiries.
You probably switched, but I decided that LogFaces needed a defender. As for TheObjectGuy Logverse, I do not see that it supports anything other than .Net, while LogFaces supports java, .Net, PHP and C ++ through Apache Logging Services
