Indication of image, text and name on facebook share without meta tags

Question

I am trying to create a facebook share button in the news section of a site. I would like to indicate which image, title and text to use for the shared resource.

Due to the limitations in cms that the website uses, I cannot add an open metagraph of the graph to the page title. I tried updating og meta using javascript and just adding them to the body, but didn't succeed.

Is there any other way to specify the image, title and text in facebook shared using only xslt or client technique like javascript?
