Can I create a user interface using files managed by Alfresco?

Question

Our company is switching from a traditional, lame Windows drive to Linux to install Alfresco.

I am the only developer here (... come on me!), And I would like to hear some thoughts on what I intend to create, created by me, an interface accessible by my team and draw files stored in Alfresco to change some HTML files represented by the interface.

So, I would like to use file locking in HTML files uploaded to my interface, as well as the ability to save managed HTML files. Presenting version history through my interface would be subtle, given that Alfresco itself can obviously be used to extract this data.

I saw WebDAV support, so I thought, “Hey, I could let my designers modify my pages, given the boundaries defined by the team!”. He will surely beat Dreamweaver for this.

I should probably also mention that yes, we have the opportunity to set up our scoring Alfresco customized for my purposes, so if that is the case, this should happen, as well as any advice that appreciated it.
