How to add an icon file to the cab file of a mobile application?

I am developing a smart device application in C #. When I deploy my application on an emulator, it shows the default name for exe of my application, and no icon is associated with it. Now I added an icon to the exe of my application by right-clicking on the project and selecting properties from the solution browser in visual studio. Then I selected the application tab and set the path to the icon (.ico file) by selecting the Icon and Manifest icon. Now, when I run my application on the emulator, it shows the icon in the exe file with the default name. I added the Smart Device Cab project to my cab file creation application. My application works fine after installing the cab file. My question is, is there a need to add an icon (.ico file) to the cockpit? If necessary, where should I add this icon file (file.ico) in the cockpit project so that my application displays the icon on exe? Or is there no need to add an icon file (.ico file to the cockpit project? Can you provide me any suggestions or a link through which I can solve the above problem?

The icon is a built-in resource in your EXE, so there is no need to deploy it separately. Keep in mind that WinMo caches icons for the Start menu, so if you deployed or installed the application without an icon so that it displays a new icon in the Start menu, you will need to use a soft-reset device.
