Using namespaces APIs for testing can affect the performance and reliability of my Google App Engine application?

As asked here , I'm looking for a clean staging solution for my Google App Engine application.
Reading the new spec proxy APIs , Google suggests that this new feature is possible :

  • Create separate data warehouse instances for testing and production

In case I decide to use the namespace for testing, can the Staging stress test affect the performance and reliability of my Production application?

Imagine a stress test that scans and stores a thousand RSS feeds in a model FeedStoredwith broadcasts on FeedStoreCounterand so on; can this operation in the intermediate namespace cause a problem when the application tries to simultaneously perform the same operation in the production namespace?
Also, do different namespaces have the same quota?

All data for all App Engine applications is stored in one Bigtable. Thus, data for different namespaces is as different as data between different applications.
