Save image to database?

I have a website where a user can upload photos with photos and photo albums. Now I'm starting to wonder, I suppose, to save photos to the database, or is the file operation still ok when it gets bigger? I think on a huge scale, like on social networks, hundreds of millions of images stored in files seem crazy to me, so I'm sure that it should be stored in some other way?

Any tips or tricks. Thanks

Save the photos to the web server, as you are going to develop a social network site, so this will be a huge burden for the database. Because several times you have to process c ++ MB images. Therefore, only store the link in BD.

From the file you can easily play with photos and even easily transfer them without any consequences for the database.
