Can I add a donation button to a mobile application (iOS, BB, Android)?

Some guys gave me the idea to add a donate button in mobile apps instead of adding ads. I search on google, but I could not find useful information. It seems like this is not possible for the iPhone. There is no information for BB, and I found one discussion for Android. Do you have experience with such an implementation? Is it possible? I have an idea to add a link to a web page (simplified for the Internet) where I will post the PayPal donation button. What do you think of this idea?
