Create TFS 2010 branch from checked items?

Question

I edited some files in Branch1 and found out that I would like to check for pending changes on the new Branch2 branch. Is it possible?

I know that I can create a branch as usual and then copy all the modified files to Branch2 manually, but this can be cumbersome.
