Can someone recommend a good plugin for viewing functions and variable source files in Gvim?

One of the most popular is TagList . It provides a simple and intuitive way to automatically update the tag list in the buffer. There are also less popular alternatives such as Source Explorer or ttags , but I recommend trying TagList first. It is easy to use but powerful and probably fits your requirements.
