Android: transmit sound to someone during a call?

I looked at the SDK for this, but can't find anything. I am wondering if there is a way to transmit sound, such as WAV or OGG, during a conversation so that the person on the other end can hear it. (This sound should be heard in addition to normal voice transmission. Instead, maybe I missed this opportunity?

No, I'm sorry - Android applications do not have access to the audio stream in a conversation. Now, if the user has a hands-free phone, I think that the noise you play on the speaker can be picked up by the microphone, but of course the quality is so-so.
