Can I use WCF to communicate with Windows kernel software?

WCF supports some compatibility bindings. Can any of these bindings bind to sw kernel mode?

AFAIK sw kernel mode can open named pipes in a security context Local System. Are these named pipes associated with WCF?

Yes, you should be able to use namefinding in WCF to communicate with kernel-mode software.

While this is possible, it will definitely be difficult. Creating a WCF service to serve data on named pipes and to the consumer is straightforward.
