IPad: measuring / detecting a closed area with the touch of a finger on the screen (not just touching the coordinates)

I would like to access the area covered by the finger for each touch event on the iPad.

Each touch event will lead to the fact that the coordinate pair X and Y does not depend on how much the thumb and, therefore, the touch area causes the event.

I was wondering if there is a way to get the data of the area that caused the touch event, for example. size or coordinates NOT

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your reply or redirect,

Christian

There is no public API for this. UITouch has a private API :

@property(assign, nonatomic, setter=_setPathMajorRadius:) CGFloat _pathMajorRadius;

AppStore . . - , , .
