As the question already says,
I am trying to figure out if it is possible to force another application / process to use a specific output device.
Not every application has a drop-down menu to choose which audio device should be used, and therefore always uses a standard device. But when running multiple applications, this is not always the desired solution. In addition, even if the application has a device selection, it almost always digs deep into the menu.
I was thinking of something like falsifying a standard device change (but only for one application)
