Ruby on Rails + EventMachine?

Question

I heard that you need to use non-blocking code throughout the application in order to be able to use the true power of EventMachine.

Does this mean that I cannot run Ruby on Rails with EventMachine?

Not at all. Thin runs on EventMachine (and Rack, MongrelParser among several others). Rails applications work fine fine.
