How to set up a database diagram from existing tables?

I have a database of nearly 300 tables. I ran into a problem that I added almost 60 tables to my chart. I can only view the entire page if I set the page scale to% 10, and this is not very useful. Anyone have any suggestions on this issue? I need to view a chart that can view a more useful way. If this offer is one of the built-in features of SQL Server 2008, I would appreciate it. Thank you

In this situation, I create several diagrams, each with logical subsets of tables. It will be easier to understand the schema using this many tables if you expand it.

On the other hand, if you are looking for a “circuit wall” and just want to make a large poster to impress people, I would use Visio to reverse engineer the circuit. It provides much more options in terms of how tables are laid out.

You can copy the entire chart at 100% magnification and paste it as a bitmap into any of your favorite image editors for further reading. :)

, .

create a new chart, add only existing tables for a certain area to it: orders, patients, etc. do not try to use an all-inclusive chart unless you want to view a small portion of it at a time.
