Android device selection - Debug column

When you are debugging eclipse using multiple Android devices, you can select the "Select Android Device" dialog box with one to deploy the application. This dialog box has a Debug column, what exactly does this column mean? One of my phones says yes, and the other says nothing.

And the second part: I assume that the phone that says “Yes” is in some kind of debug mode and slows it down (it's slow!). How can I turn it off ?!

I found that when debugging in this dialog, yes, you can debug the application, regardless of whether it is set to a debuggablevalue trueor falsein a manifest. It is very convenient sometimes. If you open DDMS on the phone with the set value “yes”, you will see many more running processes than on the phone with this set, “no”, because the phone with it “no” will display only those applications with debuggablethe value set true.
