Alternative iFrames with AJAX

What are the best alternatives to iFrames with AJAX?

iFrames is not the best way to embed HTML on a page of a website located on another website, I would like to know about the technology that does this, I prefer AJAX.

This iFrame will be located on sites of other nations, so we do not have access to the site of other users, but only to the internal iFrame.

If all you need to do is download some content from another page and insert it into your current page, I would recommend the use .load()of the jQuery .
