Webkit Converts CSS and Overflow

Question

I have a div in which its contents are converted using webkit css transforms. Now the div has overflow: hidden;, but the content after the conversion continues to be displayed outside the div.

Why is this?

It’s hard to say without code, but remember that conversions happen after the rest has been drawn. This means that the transformed element will be moved from any place where it was ignored overflow:hidden, since it does not overflow, it was transformed.
