Which thread pool manager is recommended for Perl?

I only know Thread::Poolwhich, apparently, is not supported in recent versions of Perl, and Thread::Pool::Simplewhich lacks almost any documentation.

So, which thread pool manager can I use in Perl v5.10.1 or higher?

Use Thread::Pool. I found that it is Thread::Pool::Simpleso slow that you get nothing from using it.
